Good morning all,
SULSA are delighted to launch our International Coffee Break @ SULSA which is a new resource to help build international collaborations between Scotland and Europe (initially France and Germany) via short, informal coffee breaks facilitated by SULSA. This scheme is based off the brilliant Coffee Break @ RIS...thank you to Anastasia for all your help and guidance.
This pilot scheme is using climate change as an umbrella for available topics of discussion, and is open to all disciplines (not just Life Sciences). I would therefore appreciate your help in promoting around your networks. Please find our promotional flyer attached and launch e-mail below for forwarding. You can also check out the website at www.sulsa.ac.uk/coffee-break<http://www.sulsa.ac.uk/coffee-break>
I hope you'll find this scheme of interest to both yourself and your colleagues.
Many thanks,
Jill

INTERNATIONAL COFFEE BREAK @ SULSA
International Coffee Break @ SULSA aims to drive the establishment of new international collaborations between Scotland and Europe via short, informal conversations facilitated by SULSA.
How it Works:
1. Researchers will be matched based on their location and selected topic under the umbrella of climate change
2. An informal 1:1 15 minute 'coffee break' will be conducted over Zoom between either Scotland-Germany or Scotland-France based researchers
3. This pilot has a Life Sciences focus, however, the scheme is not exclusive to life scientists and is open to other disciplines
Available Topics for Discussion:
1. Circular Economy
2. Soil health and Food/Nutrition security
3. Biodiversity and natural resource sustainability
4. Bio-based innovation and solutions
