Dear All,
A gentle reminder that you should send your exam papers to Michaela
(michaela.graham at strath.ac.uk)no later than the 15^th of February 2022.
If you are unable to meet this deadline please can you let her and Nigel
know.
The exams will take place online again, so please make sure that your
paper is in a form that can easily be implemented using the Myplace quiz
environment. The exams should also follow a similar format to last year:
PH181-4 & PH281-4: These should be set entirely using the Myplace quiz
environment, with random variables if numerical answers are required.
PH3XX-PH5XX and PH9XX: Section A should, where possible, be set using
the Myplace quiz environment, with random variables if numerical answers
are required. Section B may have more "standard" questions with
solutions that can be written out, scanned & uploaded.
Last year we also allowed additional upload of working for the online
parts of the exam for possible partial credit.
The Myplace physics playground contains several examples of different
quiz-type questions. These can be imported into your own Myplace pages
to be used as templates.
Best regards,
Alison
