[Academic] PGR conference/poster session/progress viva information

Dear all,

The planned schedule for this year's PGR presentation events is :


  *   PGR conference (1st year PhDs) : Tuesday 16th August (full day)
  *   PGR poster session (2nd year PhDs) : Wednesday 17th August (afternoon)

The intention is that both these events will take place on campus (locations TBC), in-person.

Annual review reports will be due for submission a few days before these events - further details and guidance will follow soon.

The progress vivas will take place in late August through to early September. Students will have a choice of several dates, so if you are planning a holiday/conference in this period it should be possible for us to work around it.

Progress meetings for 3rd year PhDs will take place in late September - again, a range of dates will be available to choose from.
