Subject: Academic connections with the Middle East

Dear all,

The Faculty is setting up a Middle East Collaboration Forum which is being established to support the University's work in that region.  The forum will cover all aspects of the University's operations, e.g. teaching, research, industry engagement, student recruitment etc with a view to sharing information on activity taking place, identifying areas for synergy and potential strategic opportunities.

If you are currently engaged in any activity in the Middle East could you please send me some brief bullet points? I will collate these for the Faculty to feed into the first meeting.

Please send me a brief summary of any activity by  Wednesday 7 September.
