[Academic] SCOPE: Demystifying the Publication Process Workshop

SCOPE is helping to organise a workshop discussing academic publication in physics and I was wondering if I could please use the academic and research mailing lists to circulate information about the event. The email I'd like to send is as follows:

Hello all,

SCOPE (Strathclyde Student Community for Optics, Physics & Engineering) would like to invite you to our upcoming workshop event arranged with Optica and the University of Glasgow Optical Society: Demystifying the Publication Process!

This workshop covers the publication process of academic papers and features two excellent speakers: Prof. Miles Padgett and Dr. Alison Taylor. Prof. Padgett is the Kelvin Chair of Natural Philosophy at the University of Glasgow, and is an associate editor of Optica. Dr. Taylor is the executive editor of Optica. These speakers can offer valuable advice for publishing papers, particularly for those beginning their academic career.

Tickets are completely free!
Date: 11th of April.
Time: 14:00-16:00.
Location: ARC building, University of Glasgow, 11 Chapel Lane.
Refreshments will be provided.
