Dear Members of FAC and FLEC,
This is just a reminder of the forthcoming event, in case you plan to attend and haven’t registered yet. For information, the Teaching Excellent Awards presentations will include information on Sustainability in Teaching and also a presentation from the Course Lead for the online PgCert Forensic Science, including information on how they filmed and presented their online crime scene investigation. Details of the event are below. If you wish to attend please let me know.
Thanks,
Christine.
I am delighted to share with you plans for an upcoming event at which we will celebrate the success of our Teaching Excellence Awards (TEA) winners and reflect on our NSS results. This event will take place on Wednesday 30th August, 2:30pm – 5:00pm in Royal College 501. All Faculty staff are welcome to attend. If you are unable to attend both sessions, you are welcome to attend one section of the afternoon.
During the first session (2:30 – 3:20pm) each Department will share their reflections on their NSS results, highlighting areas of success and areas in which they are seeking to make changes to their practice. This will be followed by a break with tea, coffee and cakes. During the second session (3:40 – 4:40pm) Teaching Excellence Award winners will share with attendees details of their practice for which they were nominated for the award.
If you would like to attend, please email me (christine.dowds at strath.ac.uk<mailto:christine.dowds at strath.ac.uk>). I hope to see you there.
