Hi all
Can I just highlight the request below from Paul McKenna and the PGR team please? Supervisors have been contacted and asked to complete the annual monitoring forms. If you could just encourage/remind staff in your departments about completing this that would be great
thanks
Luke

Sent on behalf of Deputy Associate Principal (R&KE), Professor Paul McKenna
Dear Colleagues,
EPSRC have announced the latest Training Grant Annual Monitoring Reporting process, which relates to both the 2021/22 and 2022/23 academic years, due to the process not running last year.
As a requirement for EPSRC-funded studentships (DTP; ICASE; Mathematical Sciences, NPIF), academics must complete a simple Word form (attached for reference) per relevant studentship for the University's Annual Monitoring Reporting. Relevant supervisors will be contacted individually about the studentships that they are required to provide the information for, and asked to return completed forms to the PGR Funding Team by noon, Tuesday, 27th February.
The completion of all requested inputs from supervisors is essential to ensuring sufficiently high-quality returns to EPSRC. The quality and comprehensiveness of our EPSRC Training Grant Annual Monitoring returns are crucial in order to ensure the that the University continues to receive EPSRC PGR Studentship funding.
Based on this, we would appreciate your assistance in communicating these key messages around the EPSRC studentship awards and the associated reporting requirements. Additionally, we would be grateful for your support to ensure that we obtain the required inputs from academic colleagues.
If you, or your faculty colleagues, have any questions about the EPSRC Training Grant Annual Monitoring process, please do not hesitate to contact the PGR Funding Team<mailto:rkes-pgrfunding at strath.ac.uk>. Thanks.
Regards,
Paul
