Dear colleagues,

I attach the first draft of the PH450 viva committees and potential dates.

Please can you work with me and Jacqui and the others in your viva committee to refine the time slot and help us find locations?

Committee structure
I've attempted to balance the PH450 marking load with respect to the number of PH550 and PH450 projects supervised and marked this year.  This means some staff with low to no projects this year will find themselves with several 2nd marker/chair positions.

Dates
The majority of vivas will be w/c 22nd April (with some in w/c 29th and w/c 6th May - we haven't forgotten the Bank holiday!).
Thank you to those that sent us information on their availability.  I've used this to map the day that the student and the committee is available.  I've also attempted to ensure that there is a 2 day buffer between viva and student exams.
Obviously, not everyone sent me dates so I understand there will need to be some rescheduling. Unfortunately there may need to be two vivas per day (AM and PM) for some staff due to other's availability.

Times
Whilst all the vivas have times (11:00 AM or 2:00 PM), this is relatively flexible.  (2:00 PM indicates at least one of the committee is unavailable in the morning).  Please can you help us/your committee with finalising the time if 11:00 AM or 2 Pm is not possible.
