[Academic] Information for Students on Appeals

Dear all,



The Honours Board results and General Board results should be released within 5 working days of the relevant Board of Examiners.



Once the results are released, if a student contacts you to contest a mark which was awarded, or to question their progress decision or degree award/classification, their only recourse is to appeal.  This must be done within 2 weeks of publication of the results letter.



Please advise students of this in such cases.  Details of how to appeal can be found in the student's results letter on Pegasus.   We cannot change anything now on the basis of new evidence of personal circumstances or anything else.  Only the Faculty Appeals Committee can consider a student's case.
