Dear All,
As part of a research project funded by the Collaborative Research Cultures programme, we invite you to take part in a survey exploring the breadth of engagement between the Faculty of Science and external organisations.
Whether you have taken a leading or supporting role, or have not yet engaged with activities such as outreach, public engagement, consultancy or industrial collaborations, to name just a few, we aim to assess the landscape of activities within the Faculty of Science, explore barriers - particularly from an intersectional perspective - that may hinder participation and identify the support that staff may find helpful.
The insights gained will directly inform the design of a workshop and networking event in August 2025, focused on fostering collaboration opportunities between underrepresented staff and external organisations. This initiative seeks to create meaningful engagement pathways and enhance collaborative research efforts within the Faculty of Science.
This study has received ethics approval from the Ethics Committee of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, ensuring that the research adheres to ethical guidelines and safeguards participant rights. (ID: 2831). All responses will remain anonymous.
Who Can Participate?
All staff members, regardless of job category, in the Faculty of Science are invited to complete the survey. Participation is entirely voluntary.
