[Academic] In-house Y1 Sustainable Physics poster conference

Hello everyone,

Want to find out a bit more about how physics can work to solve sustainable development challenges?

Our year 1 PH185 students have collaborated in small groups to research and create posters about how physics can work towards solving one of the sustainable development goals (SDG).
They will be showing their posters from 1-4pm on Thursday 27th March in JA502 and we would love an audience to come and see their work.

We have posters on:
Water electrolysis to remove CO2 from the sea
Gravity batteries
Harnessing kinetic energy with every step you take
And many more!

Please feel free to drop in for 30 minutes or more.
