Title: Dissipative topological solitons in a semiconductor ring laser

     Abstract :

We analyze experimentally the dynamics of a large ring semiconductor 
laser under the influence of coherent forcing. We show that coarsening 
dynamics of a locked domain can be blocked by the presence of 
topological dissipative solitons.
