FAPESP Post-Doctoral scholarship at the Federal University of São Carlos (Brazil) on the generation of quantum light from ensembles of quantum emitters

We are currently looking for a theoretically talented postdoc with, preferably, a background in quantum optics/atomic physics/many-body physics. The project aims to study the emission from coupled quantum emitters and to demonstrate how the photon statistics can be manipulated, and entangled photons be produced. This theory project is realized in collaboration with experimental groups, and the candidate will be expected to realize an internship abroad. More details on the group research can be found at

The position is open to candidates of all nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral Scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 per month and a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship for expenses related to the research project (travels, etc).
