LabVIEW Data Acquisition training
18th Feburary 2015
Two half-day training sessions, Undergrad, Postgrad, Technical, Academic - all welcome.
Where & When - Wednesday 18th Feb 2015, Graham Hills building, room GH 6.13.

Agenda:
In the introductory training session (9am - 12.30pm), you will:
* Receive three hour sessions of hands-on technical training from a senior engineer on real hardware
* Explore the latest features in LabVIEW, including simplified textual math, advanced signal processing and analysis and new Express VIs for sound cards and data acquisition
* Learn how to create complete LabVIEW applications from scratch in minutes with interactive Express VIs and I/O assistants
In the intermediate training session (1.30pm - 5.00pm), you will:
* Receive three hours hands-on training on the use of design patterns to build stable, scalable software applications from a senior engineer on real hardware
* Build from scratch a state machine software architecture in LabVIEW using low level DAQmx VIs to acquire, analyse and present signals from a MEMS Gyroscope
* Set limits of rotation above which data will be logged to disk in a format readable by a standard spreadsheet
* Get advice from experienced NI engineers on the challenges you face with LabVIEW and NI hardware
