Hi All,
I hope you all enjoyed the eclipse. Thanks to all who helped set up the telescopes, particular thanks to David McKee for bringing in such nice equipment.
I would really appreciate it if you could e-mail me copies of any photographs you have that would be suitable for the Departmental website. Thank you :-)
Regards,
Carol

Subject: [Physstaff] Eclipse
Dear All,
Weather permitting David McKee and I are going to set up two or three telescopes outside the new extension to the John Anderson Building at the end of Richmond Street to view the eclipse on Friday the 20th of March from around 9 am. I have also just taken delivery of 10 pairs of eclipse glasses. You, family and friends are all welcome to come and join us.
Also if you are interested in taking part in public engagement activities, please have a chat with members of our newly formed Department Public Engagement Group who are myself, Brian McNeil, Paul Griffin, Marco Piani and Silvia Cipiccia.
Hope we have a clear sky on the 20th :-)
Regards,
Carol
