Hi everyone,
Please see below for an announcement of the Daphne Jackson Trust Fellowships. These offer support for STEM professionals wishing to return to research after a break of 2 or more years working in an area related to human health - perhaps, e.g., in the bio-nano area. The deadline is very soon - 27 September.
More information about the fellowships can be found at www.daphnejackson.org<http://www.daphnejackson.org>
Best regards,
Andrew

Dear Karen
Last year you kindly distributed some information about the Daphne Jackson Trust sponsored fellowship opportunities with Medical Research Scotland. Natalie Gorenkova, one of the applicants was successful and is due to start her fellowship at the University of Strathclyde in October 2015.
Medical Research Scotland are offering up to three more fully sponsored fellowships to be held at any Scottish University. The application deadline is 27th September 2015. The fellowships are in subjects relating to biomedical research and although not restricted to a specific discipline, the research must address a question of relevance to human health which aims to improve the understanding, diagnosis, treatment or prevention of disease.
Daphne Jackson Fellowships offer STEM professionals wishing to return to research after a break of 2 or more years, the opportunity to balance an individually tailored retraining programme with a challenging research project in a suitably supportive environment.
We would be most grateful if you could promote these current opportunities with your colleagues.
More information about the fellowships can be found on the attached sheet and on our website www.daphnejackson.org<http://www.daphnejackson.org/>
We would be very happy to discuss any questions you may have.
Kind regards
Elaine
