[Physstaff] Matlab event on Campus - Wed 2nd March, 2:30pm

MathWorks (Glasgow Office, George Street) are making a presentation on Wed 2nd March at 2:30pm in Royal College R641, titled:



Its more than just MATLAB!



I attach a flyer.  Aimed primarily at a 3/4/5th year Masters/PhD audience.



Some managers from the company and some engineers will come along, and there is also networking after the presentation in Room

213 in Royal College.  All Strathclyde graduates too.



The Glasgow office is going very well and they now have 11 F/T openings in Glasgow, mainly in engineering software development, and they have a vibrant internship programme moving forward too that they will also talk about.



So I thought it could be of interest to students and colleagues if you were able to publicise to any of your 3rd, 4th, 5th year or MSc

and PhD students that might like to come along and hear more.



Any staff coming along too, would be very welcome. I will be there at 230pm and for the duration, and would be very happy to make introductions to the MathWorks managers in Glasgow and help forge some connections for your Department going forward.
