Engage with Science: Boost Business

The University of Strathclyde will be hosting a full day event on Wednesday 4th May to promote opportunities for collaboration between the Faculty of Science and external businesses and organisations. This is an official feeder event for Venturefest Scotland 2016<http://www.venturefestscotland.co.uk/>. It will take place in the Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) as part of our 'Engage' week of events.

The event will showcase the expertise and facilities available from the Faculty of Science through plenary presentations, pre-arranged 1-2-1 partnering meetings, tours and workshops. There will be ample networking opportunities and access to our Images of Research Exhibition. Attendees will also hear about the internal and external funding opportunities available to facilitate academic/non-academic interactions.

Presentations will include the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC), the EPSRC Centre for Continuous Manufacturing and Crystallisation (CMAC), Fraunhofer Centre for Applied Photonics, Interface, Scottish Enterprise High Growth Spin-Out Programme, West of Scotland KTP Centre, European funding opportunities, RSE Enterprise and Industry Fellowships and more.
