The lecture will be delivered by John Hennessy, President Emeritus, Stanford University, California. He will examine a variety of factors, cultural, institutional and external to the university that have enabled Stanford to be the “well spring of Silicon Valley” for more than 50 years. Refreshments available from 5.30pm; lecture starts 6pm; networking reception 7pm – 7.30pm.
