The Royal Philosophical Society presents fortnightly lectures during the winter, held in the John Anderson Building (JA3.25), University of Strathclyde.  The next will be held  on Wednesday 16 November (7.30 pm) and will be given by Professor Sheila Rowan, Director of the Institute for Gravitational Research, University of Glasgow.   Her title is:

"Gravitational wave observations – a new astronomy".

We welcome non-members and I would be grateful if you would you forward to any groups of staff and students you think might be interested.
