Hi All,

As part of the Science Festival a group of us are Science Busking in and around the Kelvingrove Museum on Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th of June (i.e., next weekend) between 2.00 pm and 3.30 pm.

Glasgow Science Festival celebrates this year’s 'Glasgow, Naturally' theme with a day of nature-inspired activities at Kelvingrove Museum. Peer into rainbows by building your own spectroscope and explore the natural world with experts from Amazonia, the Clipperton Project, the RSPB, the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde. http://www.glasgowsciencefestival.org.uk/events/sciencefestival/events/allages/20-glasgownaturally/

Science Busking means whirling whirly tubes, making trumpets from straws, solving rope puzzles and spinning plates to entertain and intrique family audiences visiting the Kelvingrove Museum.

A number of students are busking as part of the postgraduate 'Engaging Researchers' course, however it would be good if we had a few more people to join us. I would very much appreciate it if anyone would be willing to join us on either Saturday or Sunday - I can buy you a coffee and a cake.

Regards,

Carol
