Dear Nigel/Carol,

I am looking for volunteer STEM ambassadors to be mentors for pupils in Bellahouston Academy as part of the MUSE project. I have been in touch with Aileen Hamilton who has sent out a request to all of the Strathclyde STEM Ambassadors, however we have only had three responses so far and I am looking for about twenty mentors if possible. I was wondering if there is any other way to publicise the opportunity to STEM ambassadors in Strathclyde and Aileen suggested that I contact you for ideas. Do you have a student noticeboard or newsletter that I could put an advert on? Aileen is happy to train any students who are not already STEM Ambassadors but who would like to become mentors.

Regards,

June

Hi June
I will send a direct request to Strathclyde ambassadors and see if we can drum up more support.

In terms of contacts at Strathclyde you could try Nigel Langford or Carol Traeger Cowan? I am sure their email addresses will be on the Strathclyde System
Thnaks
aileen

Hi Aileen,

I have only had three volunteers so far from STEM Ambassadors who are interested in becoming mentors at Bellahouston. Do you have any contacts at Strathclyde who might be able to help me to publicise the opportunity that I could get I touch with?

Regards,

June
