[Postgrad] 1st year PhD students - counsellors

If you would like a particular member of academic staff to act as your 
counsellor, please let me know by the end of the week (at the moment I 
am counsellor for all of you by default).

Please note that a counsellor is intended to be a source of advice 
independent of your immediate supervisor/collaborators so it should be 
someone from a different research group to yours. Consulting your 
counsellor is optional - you can use when needed or not at all.

If I don't hear from you I will nominate your counsellor early next week.
