[Postgrad] 1st announcement of PG conference, reports and vivas for 3rd year PhD students

Please find attached the 1st announcement of details regarding



- end of 3rd year reports and progress assessment meetings



The 3rd year reports will be completed on SPIDER using the university-wide Annual Progress Report forms. As part of your report you are required to upload a 1-page thesis plan. Please see attached guidance notes for details of the information you are required to provide on the form.



The procedure this year will be   :

- Student completes and submits parts 1A and 1B of the Annual Progress Report form on SPIDER.

- When the student submits parts 1A and 1B, the supervisor is notified and completes part 2 in advance of the progress assessment meeting.

- Progress assessment meeting takes place with identified assessor. Part 3 (assessors form) is completed on SPIDER by the assessor at the progress assessment meeting.

- Student "signs off" on SPIDER acknowledging feedback received

- PG tutor or HoD adds final comments and submits, locking the report



The deadline for students to submit parts 1A and 1B of the form is *6th August*.
