Dear All,
Please see below some information from Linsey Fuller at P&G that you may find useful.
Best wishes,
Neil
Dear PhD Students,
I am a Strathclyde PhD Chemistry graduate and now work in R&D at Procter & Gamble. Over recent years, the University of Strathclyde has trained many successful students who have chosen a career at Procter & Gamble, and Strathclyde is currently one of our top UK Universities for recruitment. To further build on this success, the R&D recruitment team at P&G are keen to engage with the postgraduate students as part of our PhD recruitment programme.
We are looking for PhD candidates with a track record of academic excellence and also the behaviours/skills that fit with what we call the Success Drivers (shown below). Within R&D at Procter & Gamble we offer a vast range of roles, all of which require a strong capacity for scientific understanding as well as an excellent ability to innovate. Experience has shown us that a science background serves as an extremely robust foundation for working in any of our product categories.
This year we will be inviting second & final year PhD students to apply to our PhD Seminar, held in our Brussels Innovation Centres during 20th-23rd April 2015. Accommodation, meals and travel to and from the seminar are paid by P&G. The seminar is the main route of entry for PhD recruitment and is an excellent opportunity for PhD students to:
* Experience the innovative world of our R&D organisation,
* Learn what the typical day of a Scientist / Engineer looks like,
* Talk with our top R&D managers and technologists about their jobs, scientific research and programmes in P&G.
Application process
Step 1:
* Complete online application by 9th November.
* Go to www.experiencepg.com<http://www.experiencepg.com>, click on 'Search Jobs' and enter the job number RND00002744.
* Select the result "R&D European PhD Seminar - the way to get to know and join P&G" to start the application.
Step 2:
* Applicants passing the online stage will be invited for interview.
Yours Sincerely,
Linsey Fuller
