Below are some PhD & Post-doc announcements to work in São Carlos,

2 postdoc & 3 PhD positions are available to work in the Group of
Optics at IFSC-USP, São Carlos (Brazil). The topics to be covered
include:
- Experiments and theory on cooperative scattering and long range
interactions in cold atoms
- Experiments on Bloch oscillations in a ring cavity
- Experiments on plasmonics and the application of subwavelength optical
phenomena to cold atomic gases

Post-doctoral positions are for 2 years (renewable for an extra year).

Experimental candidates should have a strong background in cold atoms,
quantum optics or laser physics. For theoretical candidates, a background
in many-body physics or scattering will be appreciated.
