[Postgrad] Help Needed - Response required

As in previous years, we are looking for postgraduate volunteers for our UCAS Lunch Days, the first of which is on Thursday, 19th February.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with these, it is a day when undergraduate applicants who have been made an offer by the department are invited to attend a lunch, have a tour, are given a talk(s) and also have the opportunity to speak to a member of academic staff about their offer.  The parts that we need postgraduate volunteers to be involved in are the lunch and tours - taking a group on a short campus tour then to lunch (you will be provided with a lunch voucher too) at the Lord Todd and then bringing them back to attend some talks.  After the talks you would take your group on a short tour around the teaching labs, which would be in use so you would not be demonstrating anything.  These events are really important to the department and your help would be very much appreciated.

Please can you let me know your availability to help with this next Thursday (19th February), during the afternoon - from approximately 12 noon.   I would be grateful if you could respond to me as soon as possible and  no later than Tuesday 17th  of next week, please reply even if it is just to say you cannot help.  As well as a free lunch you will of course be paid at the normal rate for your time.

There will be another UCAS lunch day  on Thursday 5th March  and we will also need volunteers for this.
