[Postgrad] University Open Day on Saturday 3rd October

I'd be grateful for volunteers to help out with the second of the 
University's open days for prospective undergraduates on Saturday 3rd 
Oct from 10-2.

We will need people to man the departmental stand, which will be done in 
2 shifts :

10-12
12-2

We'll also need some bodies to help out with the 2 tours of the teaching 
labs (1 morning, 1 afternoon)

If you can help then please get in touch with me or Melanie and let us 
know whether you can do morning, afternoon, or either.

A related date for your diary is the departmental open evening on Wed 
Oct 28th - details to follow in due course (and yes, I'll be looking for 
volunteers for that as well...)
