[Postgrad] Health and Safety Inductions - Safety Audit

Dear All,

 

Following on from Ron Weston's emails of 14th January and 21st January
regarding Health and Safety Inductions it has come to my attention that Ron
has not had a great response from postgraduate students. I would strongly
encourage you to complete the attached form and return to Ronnie Weston,
copying  <mailto:hod at phys.strath.ac.uk> hod at phys.strath.ac.uk into the
email.   This information should be returned by Friday 29th January at the
very latest. 

 

I would like to thank those of you who have already responded to Ron.

 

However, to those who have not yet responded, may I remind you that you have
a legal responsibility to cooperate with the Department, enabling us to meet
our statutory obligations,(Sect 7, HSAW Act 1974).

 

Failure to reply, will result in withdrawal of laboratory privileges, until
further investigations can take place.
