Part Time Employment Opportunity

The Physics Department is looking for a PGR student to update and maintain the departmental Equality and Diversity website.

You should have an eye for design, good attention to detail and be able to work on your own initiative.
Experience of using WordPress or designing web sites would be an advantage.

It is envisaged that this will involve about 5 days for initial updating and restructuring of the current pages, with an ongoing commitment of 1 hour per week to maintain the site, for 6 months in the first instance.  The content and pictures for the web site will be supplied, and the post holder will be tasked with redesigning/reimagining the site and keeping it up to date.

Applicants should seek permission from their supervisor before applying.  The work can be carried out at a mutually convenient time, with some flexibility over the working arrangements.

This work will be paid at an hourly rate of £17.79/hour which includes a holiday pay allowance of 19%.
