[Postgrad] REMINDER - Cybersecurity Awareness Training

Dear all,

The University continues to track the completion of the online training course on Cybersecurity Awareness in HE.  The student completion rate is extremely low in Physics.

If you have not done so already, please would you undertake it as soon as possible.  The training course can be accessed from the following link - https://www.strath.ac.uk/professionalservices/is/cybersecurity/trainingpolicies/.

As well as the obvious importance of safeguarding your data and devices, it is anticipated that in the not-too-distant future there will be a 'badging' system in place for universities and/or departments certifying that they have up to date cyber security arrangements.  This will include evidence of staff and students having been trained.  Achievement of such certification may become a requirement in order to apply to some funding bodies, so it is important that everyone completes the training sooner rather than later.
