Hi Audrey,

My name is Jon Devlin, I am a PhD student in the Mathematics and Statistics department. Could you please pass this email about the Strath Science Scout onto the PhD students of your department. Thank you.

For anyone that does not know, the Strath Science Scouts are a volunteer group consisting of current science undergraduate students, PhD students and some staff who organise and run outreach activities for primary and secondary school students. The aim of the Scouts is to promote the study of science to school students through various outreach events held both on campus and in schools. All the members in charge of running the events are currently Maths PhD students/staff but we would like to have a member from each department helping to organise and run events for their subject. Although we are the Strath Science Scouts, it is difficult for Maths students to create and run outreach activities for the other science subjects.
