Dear all,

The IOP has 5 priority places at the*/Standing Up for Science/ workshop 
at the University of Edinburgh on Friday, 20th September. The 
application deadline *is this Friday 16^th August.Are there any Early 
Career Researchers you can think of who might benefit from the Sense 
about Science workshops? If so, can you forward them the links to the 
workshop webpage

application form <http://bitly.com/voys-scotland>, and I have also 
attached the workshop flyer in case you'd like to print/distribute it.

There is also a workshop due in Glasgow: the */Peer Review: the Nuts & 
Bolts/ workshop at Glasgow Caledonian University on Friday, 18th 
October*. The application deadline for this is next month, but please 
let your researchers know about this additional workshop that 
complements the /Standing up for Scienc/e workshops. Again, here is
