Below is an update regarding the graduate labour market and support 
available for students and graduates from the Careers Service. I 
appreciate the labour market update might not seem relevant to some PGRs 
however I really just wanted to make you aware of the support the 
Careers Service continues to provide so you can signpost PGRs to us if 
appropriate.

*Labour Market Update*

We are aware that the current situation is having an impact on both 
summer and graduate opportunities and that this will be causing concern 
among students. The Careers Service is a member of the Institute of 
Student Employers who are monitoring the situation closely and have 
asked careers services to encourage students/graduates to speak to 
employers about the status of the internships/graduate schemes they have 
applied to or have been accepted for.

Our Employer Engagement Team are in contact with our own employer 
community and we will share updates with staff and students as 
appropriate. In the meantime we are working closely with other 
university careers services through our professional network to ensure 
our services adapt to meet the needs of our students and graduates.

*Please encourage students to continue to use our services and to 
contact us if they require support. Below is a summary of our core 
services, for quick reference, which is available to all students and 
graduates up to 5 years after graduation:*
