Good Morning,

I am emailing to advise that registration is now available for the 
upcoming Tech Fair 2020. In previous years we have had a number of 
*Physics* students attend the Fair who are considering a career in IT 
and the tech industry so please feel free to share with your students. 
Many of the employers will have internships/placements/graduate 
opportunities available which may be of interest.

Event details are below:

*Dates:* Tuesday 10^th & Wednesday 11^th November  

*Times:* Tuesday 10^th November:
             9.30am – Virtual Meeting room will open (Breakout rooms 
will open and Exhibitors and attendees will be directed to the 
appropriate rooms)
             10am – 12noon: Morning sessions
             12noon – 1.50pm: Break
             2pm – 4pm: Afternoon session

            Wednesday 11th November:
             9.30am – Virtual Meeting room will open (Breakout rooms 
will open and Exhibitors and attendees will be directed to the 
appropriate rooms)
             10am – 12noon: Morning sessions
             12noon – 1.50pm: Break
             2pm – 4pm: Afternoon session

Employers will be assigned to either the AM or PM exhibition on their 
preferred day.
Each AM and PM exhibition will be split into four sessions, each session 
lasting for 25mins:

*AM Exhibition Times*

*PM Exhibition Times*

Session 1: 10.00 – 10.25
Session 2: 10.30 – 10.55
Session 3: 11.00 – 11.25
Session 4: 11.30 – 12noon

Session 1: 14.00 – 14.25
Session 2: 14.30 – 14.55
Session 3:  15.00 – 15.25
Session 4: 15.30 – 15.55

At the start of every session, each exhibitor will give a 5min welcome 
talk/PowerPoint presentation about their company.  The rest of the 
session is for interaction between attendees and employers. **The 
Technology Fair is an excellent forum to have fruitful discussions with 
lots of different firms and we are confident that despite being a 
virtual event this year we are still able to offer this same type of 
interaction.

Our staff (both technical and careers service) will be on hand 
throughout the entire event to move the students between the different 
sessions and to provide assistance.**Each of these sessions is unique 
and will have different attendees.
