The company has already helped 83 students to gain part-time jobs throughout the pandemic.
The new internships will support more students who rely on part-time jobs for income during their studies, who might otherwise be put off taking a place at University or who are still considering a return to education.
Together Energy has an ethical recruitment process that aims to support individuals and communities from the most challenged postcodes.

She also tells us how using Teams for file storage and sharing has significantly improved version control of documents and reduced email to make communication within the team far more efficient.

The call for nominations to this position will be launched shortly.
The electoral roll has been drawn up to include all members of the academic, research, teaching and knowledge exchange staff of the University in post on the first day of February and is available for inspection on SharePoint<https://universityofstrathclyde.newsweaver.com/cvg4pnmkid/1js1fr2zy2uw33np94yief/external?email=true&a=5&p=60065137&t=31139368> until Friday 27 August 2021.

Glasgow introduced Scotland's first ever Low Emission Zone in 2018 to reduce levels of harmful nitrogen dioxide in our city centre which are being recorded at levels that do not meet statutory objectives.
Glasgow City Council is currently consulting on the Phase 2 scheme design of Glasgow's Low Emission Zone.

The programme is funded by the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony (and delivered by the European Centre for Advanced Studies).

Applicants are actively sought from people who have lived experience of the youth justice systems. Parents/carers of someone who has experienced these systems are also encouraged to apply.
This expertise will assist the EGG and CYCJ in keeping the voice and lives of children and young people in conflict with the law in mind during decision making.

A Physics<https://universityofstrathclyde.newsweaver.com/cvg4pnmkid/11lpfx57jy5w33np94yief/external?email=true&a=5&p=60065137&t=31139333> researcher at the University of Strathclyde has received a Research Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) to develop technology for quantum navigation.
Dr James McGilligan is one of 16 recipients of Research Fellowships, announced by RAEng to mark the programme’s 20th anniversary.
His project will investigate microfabricating chip-scale atomic platforms for quantum navigators. These have potential applications in areas such as navigations, land surveyance and critical life systems.

Listening to children about their needs and involving them more closely in decision-making could have improved global responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to an international survey<https://universityofstrathclyde.newsweaver.com/cvg4pnmkid/1iprz1e2ye8w33np94yief/external?email=true&a=5&p=60065137&t=31139333> produced by the University of Strathclyde.
People working with children - including teachers, care workers and community health workers - also cited lack of access, insufficient funding, school disruption and barriers to advocacy among the challenges they faced in supporting children, particularly those at high risk, during the pandemic.
However, more professionals also reported positive outcomes prompted by the pandemic, including creative uses of technology, community liaison, raising awareness of children’s risks and rights, and combining virus protection with psychosocial support.

It was funded by the Scottish Library and Information Council (SLiC) under the Scottish Government School Library Improvement Fund (SLiF), led by Glasgow Life in partnership with the STEM Equals programme at the University of Strathclyde.
Six groups of pupils from three Glasgow schools – Smithycroft Secondary, All Saints Secondary, and Shawlands Academy – participated.
