Dear Ms McNally,

I am interested in the courses of 1st year mechanics and waves (PH183) and topics in nanoscience (PH459/PH957).

I am working with diffraction methods in my current PhD which is relevant to PH183 material and I have a degree in nanoscience from Strathclyde which includes the PH957 course.

I am available for the times and days listed on the courses.

Regards,
Apostolos Evangelos Minopetras

There is no limit to the number of modules that you can apply to work on, but it is important to note that you will be required to undertake compulsory training before starting in a support role. I have attached a document that outlines the training requirements and you will be paid for your time during training.

If you are interested in working as a support tutor for any of the above modules, please reply to this email and include the following:

  *   Module code(s)
  * Your availability (as some timetabling may still be subject to change/semester 2 is yet to be timetabled)
  * A brief explanation of your suitability to the module and any relevant skills you possess
  * Please let me know if you have completed the required training already
  *

I understand that this is being sent at short notice, but it would be great if you could please get back to me by the EOD on Monday 29th August to let me know your availability, so that we can start to issue contracts accordingly.

I look forward to hearing from you and if you have any additional questions in the meantime please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes,

Claire
