Every year, colleagues are asked to nominate individual members of staff or teams who consistently demonstrate the University’s Values in their work, contributions and relationships.
Nominations received are considered by a cross-University panel, with the best examples being celebrated at a Strathclyde Medals Ceremony where individuals and teams receive a Values Medal or a Values Team Trophy.

A major ‘Prosperity Partnership’ project, awarded to a consortium of partners led by SP Energy Networks and the University of Strathclyde, has received industry and government funding of almost £10 million.
The project will create a ‘digital twin’ of future multi-vector energy networks and will assist with the drive to meet the UK’s 2050 net zero emissions objectives.

Strathclyde Institute for Genealogical Studies officially launched at a free online event on Tuesday 9 May, with over 250 attendees from around the world enjoying a fascinating keynote address from Professor Turi King (pictured), Professor of Public Engagement and Genetics, University of Leicester.
Tahitia McCabe, Head of the Institute, provided an overview of the vision for genealogy at Strathclyde and was joined by Professor Sir Jim McDonald, Principal and Vice Chancellor, who both welcomed guests and spoke on the history of Strathclyde.
