The Widening Access team is recruiting staff volunteers to mentor incoming care-experienced students, and a small number of student asylum seekers for the September 2024 intake.
The team welcomes colleagues who can use their Strathclyde knowledge to mentor a student throughout their degree.

Strathclyders walk over 200 million steps

The Lord Forte Prize is awarded to the undergraduate student with the highest overall marks in Hospitality and Tourism Management for this academic session.

Join Strath Union and The Conservation Volunteers for a volunteering day to create a green community project in Ruchazie Community Space.
The work will be part of a bigger project turning a sizable area of vacant and derelict land into a number of green community assets such as allotments and woodland learning areas.

Internal applications are now being accepted for equipment costing between £15k - £100k (inc. VAT).

This presents an excellent opportunity for staff to gain the L&D9DI qualification in Assessing Workplace Competence Using Direct and Indirect Methods from the SQA.

MBA places available

The part-time programme will normally be studied over two years, with classes delivered during weekend intensive seminars.
