UKNC Winter conference 2020
This year’s Winter Conference will be held in the Cardiff National Museum on 8-9th January 2020.
The meeting will start at approximately 10.15 am on the Wednesday and finish on the Thursday at around 5 pm.
We currently have three invited speakers:

* Dr Zlatko Sitar from North Carolina State University
‘Defects In Nitride semiconductors’ (The Humphreys Lecture)
* Prof. Elison Matioli from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)
‘Towards the limits of GaN electronics’
* Prof. Michael Uren from the University of Bristol,
‘Challenges for GaN to achieve its theorectical promise for power electronics’ (The Foxon Lecture)

Abstracts on any aspect of nitride science and technology can be submitted online<http://www.uknc.org/submit-abstract/> until Tuesday 3rd December for oral or poster presentations. The organisers will review the abstracts before creating the final programme.
This conference is the premier UK event for showcasing your work on III-nitride semiconductors. Open to industry and academia, it provides the opportunity to hear from distinguished plenary speakers, discuss ideas with other delegates and initiate new collaborations.
Please note the key dates below:
Registration opens: 1st November 2019
Early registration deadline: 15th November 2019
Final registration cut-off: 3rd December 2019
Abstract deadline: 3rd December 2019
