Dear UKNC members,

I apologise that we are late announcing the UKNC Winter Meeting. Given
the current pandemic situation it has been necessary to change the
arrangements quite substantially, but the UKNC Committee are now pleased
to announce that we will be running a virtual meeting on January 7th and
8th, hosted by the Institute of Physics. There will be 3 invited talks,
and opportunties for both contributed talks and online posters. The
meeting is free to people from UKNC member instututions and also IOP
members, and very reasonably priced for all other attendees.

The deadline to submit an abstract for a poster or talk is 1st December,
so please do start thinking straight away about what you would like to
present. There are more details about all aspects of the meeting on the
website here:

http://uknc2021.iopconfs.org/Home

Looking forward to seeing you at the online meeting, and please do share
the website widely with your networks, since a broader group of folk may
be interested in attending a low cost online conference than might
attend our usual in-person meetings.

All the best,
Rachel.
