[Academic] Fred Stern Prize - request for nominations

Nominations are sought for this year's Fred Stern Prize, the Department's prestigious prize for a PhD student who has demonstrated performance of exceptionally high quality.

Candidates must have had their PhD viva in the calendar year 2011. The nominator will normally be the supervisor and/or external examiner, but any member of staff can submit a nomination. Nominations will be assessed by the Head of Department and the Postgraduate Tutor, taking advice as appropriate.

Nominations should be submitted to me by *Thursday 7th June 2012*.
