[Academic] PH450 and PH550 - Initial allocation of students

Hello,

Attached is a spreadsheet showing the students we allocated to projects yesterday, and the projects that remain unfilled.


*         PH450 - 40 students successfully allocated projects, 11 students unsuccessful (revised booklet to go out today for a second round of allocation forms)

*         PH550 - 7 continuing projects from 4th year, 2 have new projects, and 2 not allocated yet.

We've provisionally set the deadline for second round forms to noon next Tuesday 9th October.

Other dates coming up:


*         10th October - Laser Safety course, JA 3.14, 2pm for 90 minutes

*         19th October - Literature review submitted by students (and a copy sent to Prof O'Donnell)

*         30th November - Safety form returned to JA 8.33 - student has the blank form from handbook/MyPlace
