Dear All,

The message below refers to the 2013 Teaching Excellence Awards. It was
good to see a large number of nominations from the Department last year.
Please encourage your students to nominate this year.

Regards,

Rob

Dear Colleague,

The nominations for the Teaching Excellence Awards 2013 are now open!
This year we have changed the categories according to student feedback.
The categories are as follows:

·Most Enthusiastic Teacher

·Most Innovative Teacher

·Most Supportive Teacher

·Teacher of the Faculty x 4

·Best Overall Teacher.

You can find all the information on the TEAs this year here
<http://www.strathstudents.com/tea>. You will also notice that this year
we are publicising how many nominations each faculty is receiving. This
will give you an opportunity to promote the Teaching Excellence Awards
to your students.

Similar to last year, if you would like some posters to display in your
department please send me an email, and I shall send some over!

Last year we did some research on the supporting statements of the
nominations to understand what students value in good teachers. It is
attached to this email, and I would appreciate if you forward it on to
your colleagues.

If you have any comments, please get in touch as I would love to hear them.

Kindest regards,

Rebecca
