Dear All,
As you know from my previous email, copied below, we are holding some very important recruitment events in the department next week and after Christmas. I am asking you to please reconsider whether you can help on Tuesday of next week, the 18th December, as we do not have enough people willing to help out in the lab - 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon and are in desperate need of volunteers. We have 65 advanced higher pupils and teachers arriving at 10 am on Tuesday morning, they will be split into two groups with one doing the lab in the morning and the other in the afternoon. They will be split across 6 experiments and we really, really need people to help supervise these groups.
If you can help on Tuesday, please let me AND Nigel know as soon as possible as I will not be in the office on Monday.
To those of you who have already said that you are willing to help, thank you!
Thanks
Lynn

Subject: Recruitment Events - RESPONSE REQUIRED
Importance: High
Dear All,
There are three very important upcoming events in the Department's recruitment calendar as follows:
Tuesday 18th December 2012
Thursday 20th December 2012
Wednesday 9th January 2013
The events on these dates are Advanced Higher Days, whereby schools are invited to bring along their Advanced Higher Physics pupils to listen to various talks and then spend 2 hours in a lab conducting experiments with helpers - that is the help we are looking for.
The Department needs at least 6 people to help on each of these days. This would be for 2 hours on the first two dates and 4 hours on the January date (numbers mean we will hold the event twice on that date).
Please let me know, by return if you can or at least as soon as possible, which dates you would be able to help - postgrads will of course be paid the usual rate. If you need more information just let me know.
Thanks
Lynn
