Dear colleagues

We're in the midst of survey season 2013 at Strathclyde, and as such, a
number of academic and researcher-related surveys will be launching on
*5 March* and running until *16 May*. These biennial surveys, run by
over 100 Universities in the UK, provide valuable data to inform
institutional, Faculty and departmental enhancements, and are a useful
indication of the experiences of our research and academic communities.

Over the next few months, the following surveys will therefore be open
at Strathclyde:

*Survey*

*Target Audience*

*Responsible Directorate(s)*

Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)

Postgraduate Research Students

RKES and SEES

Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS)

Research staff

HR (OSDU)

Principal Investigators and Research Leaders Survey (PIRLS)

Academic staff

HR (OSDU)

In relation to *PRES* specifically, the Researcher Development Team have
developed a Good Practice Guide which provides an overview of the survey
cycle, how you can contribute, and to let you know what we'll be doing
and when you're likely to hear from us at each stage, which we hope you
find useful.

Please do promote these surveys to your research and academic
communities to encourage a significant response rate, and in the case of
PIRLS, perhaps take part yourselves!

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Kind regards

//
