=============================
Dear Colleagues
Further to Helen's email, RIO can provide statistics of all outbound
ERASMUS and International Exchange Activity. We are really asking you
to provide details of any additional *_departmental_* mobility activity
which RIO is not aware of.
Many thanks.

*Importance:* High
Hello all,
Further to Allison's email below, I would like to extend my appreciation
for taking part in what I anticipate will be a very useful piece of
research which will allow all of your efforts regarding study abroad
opportunities for students to be recognised and celebrated.
Funded by*the Scottish Government *and *led by NUS Scotland, *the
purpose of the project is*to map all short-term mobility at the
Universityof Strathclyde.*As you are well aware, throughout Scottish
colleges and universities, there is an *urgent need for accurate data*
collection for *short-term outward mobility* to ensure these types of
mobility are *sustainable* but also *adequately promoted in student
prospectuses* so students can plan accordingly.
As you can see, there is only one line that needs to be filled in by
each staff member who has a study abroad opportunity for students within
their course or module of study. I would appreciate it if you
could*distribute this to all academic staff members in your faculty* to
fill in and *return to me* via email. Each staff member can return it to
me individually to ensure the least inconvenience for them and you. I
will then collate this evidence with what is recorded at an
institutional level to see the disparity between what has traditionally
been recorded centrally (i.e. Erasmus) and what the new figures show.
As long as thisinformation is sent back to me by the *end of April*, I
can incorporate it in to our *best-practice publication* which will be
launched at our *parliamentary reception hosted by* *Christina McKelvie
MSP on 5 June*. The invitations to this reception will be sent outto all
participating institutions in the next few weeks.
If you have any queries or questions in the meantime, do not hesitate to
ask.
Many thanks again,
Helen

Dear Helen
Below is a list of Heads of Department/Subject Leaders for the Faculties
of Engineering, Science and Humanities & Social Sciences. The Business
School has already collated this information in connection with a recent
accreditation exercise, and you should contact the Faculty Manager,
Catherine Court, (c.court at strath.ac.uk <mailto:c.court at strath.ac.uk>)
for further information.
Please feel free to contact the others direct as each Faculty has given
clearance for this.
We look forward to receiving the results in due course.
Regards.
