We would greatly appreciate if you could pass this onto academic staff/colleagues working on scientific, clinical or social research relating to dementia.

After extensive consultation and planning with colleagues from the research community, Alzheimer Scotland is delighted to announce the establishment of the Scottish Dementia Research Consortium.  This is a new membership body that aims to bring together researchers from all aspects of work relating to Dementia.

Information about the background, purpose and governance arrangements for the Scottish Dementia Research Consortium are detailed in the attached paper and we are delighted to invite you to become a member.  Benefits of membership and the structure are also covered in the document but if you have any queries or require further information, please contact:

If you wish to become a member, please complete and return the attached 'Membership Application Form'.

We are also inviting those who wish to be members to nominate themselves for positions on the Executive Committee as well as Chair.  Again, if you are interested in being involved, please complete the 'Executive Application Form' and/or 'Chair Application Form' as appropriate.
