[Academic] Level 5 MPhys Project

Dear All,

I would like your opinion on re-structuring the 5th year timetable to run as follows:

1st Semester would comprise PH 550 Project and PH 551 Research Skills.

2nd Semester would comprise all taught classes PH 552 through to PH 559.

This would allow MPhys students to concentrate fully on their project in the first semester without distractions from teaching. The students may then deliver a project that is of appropriate standard. The project assessment would be completed during the January Examination Diet.

Please reply by 20th August and this can also be discussed at the next DC.
