[Academic] Short questionnaire

Dear Colleagues

As part of my Academic probation I am required to take part in PG 
Certificate modules organised by HR through the Organisational and Staff 
Development Unit. At this time I am working on the Independent Enquiry 1 
module which "allows the participant to identify an aspect of 
professional relevance" and in my case involves development of a 
critique of current practise and suggestions for potential improvements.

My topic is Support for Career Development of Research Staff and as part 
of my study, I would like to ask for YOUR opinion on the topic. I have 
prepared a very short questionnaire (15 questions - attached) and would 
hugely appreciate receiving your input. Any comments or feedback 
received will, of course, be treated in strictest confidentiality. I am 
happy to receive responses by e-mail or by post.

This is a purely academic exercise, no strings attached (other than my 
use of the data toprogress through probation).

I would be very grateful to receive your thoughts and responses to the 
questionnaire. I am sure it is a topic of concern / interest to all 
Academic staff.
